Represented residential mobile home park in an action for injunctive relief to obtain the return of company property from a former employee and in the defense of a cross-complaint asserting breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, failure to pay wages, retaliation, intentional interference with prospective advantage and intentional infliction of emotional distress claims. Successfully obtained the return of all misappropriated property, the complete dismissal of an individual defendant from the action by way of demurrer (without leave to amend) and negotiated the settlement of the cross-complaint during mediation.

The case was favorably resolved through informal negotiations early in the litigation process and we were able to include as part of the settlement the employee’s separation from the company.

Represented Southern California 20+ hotel chain in the defense of disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, retaliation and wrongful termination claims. Early mediation successfully resolved matter and limited defense costs by client.
